You can get pricing online from Sweetwater, NovaMusic, and other retailers that carry the Vger. This will give you a basis to work from.
I would then suggest you contact the keyboard department of Washington Music Center in Wheaton, MD. 301-946-8808. They always seem to beat everyone else’s price. No guess on how shipping costs to your location will affect the total cost, however.
Good luck!

Washington Music ( Chuck Levins) are nice to deal with, I ordered my Murf and Ring Mod from there. Guess GE and I are lucky (?) to live so close
. When you call ask for Ed in Keyboards.
I’m in California, so shipping might be quite a bit. I’ll give him a call, though. Thanks for the info.
John’s the best!
Just an update: I bought an AE for $2499.99 from audiosyncrazy.com. I was planning on just getting a Performer, but how could I resist an AE at that price!? Now comes the hard part, waiting for it to get here.

bought my AE from sweetwater, in Ft. Wayne, Ind.
Free shipping, they got it to me in a week, and pretty good customer service(you retain one rep. through all transactions), plus they threw in a lamp, and Moog Voyager Hardshell case.
Doki Doki,
If you’re in Cali, you can contact JRR Shop on Michelson Dr. in Irvine. Eric Dahlberg runs the shop and he can get great deals on gear. I was able to get a Dave Smith Polyevolver for $150 less than anywhere else.
Here’s the website: http://www.jrrshop.com
Thanks, I’ll check that out. The problem is that if I buy from inside California I have to pay sales tax. When buying something $2000+ that can get pretty pricey.
By the way, I was looking into getting a Polyevolver eventually (I’m wiped out after the Moog). How is it? The new keyboard version seems cool, but I’m sorry, I think its damn ugly. Its freakin purple!
I just bought a Performer w/blue lighted mod-pith wheels and gig bag for $2398.00 shipping included from North Coast Music. I live in FL, they’re in WI… I ordered last Sunday evening and in arrived yesterday (Thursday) afternoon. That’s the best deal I’ve seen and I’m a happy Moogist, Mooger… whatever. Email Gary at DOCTORVOX@aol.com. NCM is authorized Moog dealer so it qualifies for the $100.00 Performer rebate. I think that ends abouth the 20th of this month.

North Coast Music was who I was going to order from, but then I did a price match at audiosyncrazy.com. I wanted to order from them because they accept Paypal and thats where my money was. John (at audiosyncrazy) said they didn’t have any performers, but they did have some AE’s for $2499+free shipping. I figured I could get the cool backlights for only $100 bucks more, so I went for it. Although, I would like the stained wood better, but the black finish looks good, too. Maybe Moog Music will sell me a maple cabinet. Anyone know if they do that sort of thing? That would be sweet!..but then again, who cares what it looks like…as long as it sounds good!
I’d say you did great! I’d like an AE to compliment mine. I like the wood though and it is VERY attractive. I’ve a Roland VK7 and they did well to use as much wood as possible. I certainly wouldn’t have passed up the deal you got. I’m sure you’ll love it!

I got a used Sig. Edition (cherry wood) for $2500. It had barely been used, no presets have even been touched or written. Might as well be brand new, no dings or marks anywhere, and I think we have seen that the Sig. Editions’ are holding their value very well. I have seen some selling for as much as $3995. I am very pleased with my purchase.
I’ll sell you mine for $2250 plus shipping. It’s a signature with serial number 33. There’s a few little almost unnoticeable cosmetic things but everything else is perfect. its walnut
