Bent VX-351 rack mount?

I just received the Moog rack mount kit on eBay for the vx-351 and vx-352 cv expanders. The rack mount is bowed back in the center. Is that normal? It looks like it was manufactured that way, but I don’t know why it would need to be bent like that.

I am waiting on a VX-351 to arrive before I install everything in the rack. I wanted to ask about this before I bend something that maybe shouldn’t be bent.

Ive got 3 of the big racks. ( 3 foogers or 4 cp/vx ) they are all flat.

They aren’t supposed to be bent.
