I am unclear what the in app Midi purchase adds to what is already available in the latest version of Animoog. If all I want to do is use Animoog for midi out to my DAW, do I need this add-on? Is it just to allow Midi in?

I’m quite sure that midi out let you use x/y pad as a midi controller for any other midi source… but, without midi out, you still got midi in…

that thread is old news last September ~ for what it’s worth it works great for me ~ i don’t use ableton though
