Friends,
I was just messing around with the Voyager a minute ago when I began to think about how many different notes I might can get with 1 key.
THe result was a very nice sounding patch with many possible variants.
First I picked an octave (low) on Osc 1.
Then I turned the resonance and Keyboard amt to filter all the way up.
Tune the filter cutoff so it’s pitch is an interval to Osc 1.
Adjust the spacing amount to create a third interval.
Tune Osc 2 and 3 so that no interval is the same.
Adjust your waveshapes and glide to taste.
You can get bernie style pitch bends of the filters with a little LFO modulation courtesy of an expression pedal or mod wheel.
Depending on the octave settings and waveshapes, your oscs will sound neat and blend well with the filters, but the filters can exhibit sounds that are approaching phone-like or clangorous depending on how you tune the initial filters pitch.
5 possible pitches make for interesting sounds.
Hope you find this beneficial to any degree.
Eric
