When wanting to use the Arp in a DAW, I get very strange behaviour. Playing on the Messenger → DAW → Messenger, the Synth is just playing the pattern once and then constantly playing the last note. This also happens when the track is armed and a MIDI clip is playing from the DAW → Messenger.
When the track is unarmed, it is working, but the clock has a huge delay, it seems.
I have Local and the sequencer sending notes off, use firmware 1.0.7, and tried a factory reset.
Does anyone have the same issue?

Same thing occurring in Ableton live using midi din, using the arpegiator. When you stop the transport in live, the sequence either continues, or there’s a hung note. Messenger then locks up and has to be rebooted. All settings checked, latest update installed and factory reset performed. Doesn’t seem to occur when a single note is sent via the DAW, only when chords are sent to messenger.
For me, appears fixed in 1.08.
I have the same issue, with firmware 1.0.8

I’m not sure if its the same issue, but the arpeggiator timing is always off beat when sequenced from an external sequencer. With the Subsequent 37, when an external sequencer sends a midi playback start command, the arpeggiator its timing is restarted and plays in sync. On the Messenger, the timing is not restarted with the playback command. It plays the correct tempo but not in sync. I hope this can be updated in the next firmware!
