I find it interesting that it is 4K and the regular minimoog is 5K
Collectability factor would make it seem the pricing should be the other way around.
I’ve seen multiple music retailers lower the price of the regular MiniMoog Model D from $5K to $4K. Seems the Bob Moog Tribute Edition is having a affect on the regular MiniMoog Model D prices.
Yes, just got mine last week. At $4K with a Moog case, regardless of how the used or non-Tribute market responds, I figured there was very little risk of losing any money if for some unfathomable reason I ever decided to get rid of it. For me, it was the perfect no-risk opportunity to own the “real thing” that I’ve wanted forever.
