Just wondering if anyone has a Voyager they’re selling in the UK? Let me know. Also, is anyone taking their Voyager to gigs using the Moog gig bag? Is it convenient/safe enough?
Dean, I often see Voyagers for sale on Ebay…but then some of them are fake listings. Some are proper Moog users and some are companies listing on EBAY.
I’ve got the Moog Gig bag.
As long as you’re safe transporting it around and don;t throw it, it’s cool. I also have the SKB case too. That’s alot safer, but ALOT bigger too.
I’d suggest getting both.
An interesting story for you…
When I returned last year from Asheville meeting Bob, Mike Adams, Steve Dunnington and the team, I brought my Voyager home via the Gig Bag. I bought it in the UK and took it out with me(basically I had a good deal on it).
Anyway, Asheville airport weren’t very helpful when it came to wanting to take it on the plane, they said NO so it went into the hold. When I collected it from the steps, one handler was holding it and about to put it face down and then Some cases on top. I told him if he did that, I’d be taking his testicles and forcing them into his eyesockets-via the use of my boot..that sorted it..When I got to Charlotte airport, the stewardesses on board were fantastic. they allowed the Moog in the cabin. The only problem I didn’t for-see was the fact that FROM THE PLANE TO THE BAGGAGE COLLECTION in Gatwick airport, was absolutely miles. I carried the Voyager with-MY LEFT HAND, MY RIGHT, RIGHT SHOULDER and then LEFT…Back to my Hands…
It was really heavy to carry…By the time I was about 500 yards from Baggage reclaim, I was praying for someone to mug me and steal it…It was that difficult to carry for a long period.
Anyway, I hope I didn;t bore you with that,
Keep your eyes peeled and If I see anything on ebay or elsewhere…I’ll message you
