Any ideas for a good hands on lfo workflow?

Let me explain a bit what I am looking for: Assigning destinations for LFO’s (same with envelopes) is fast and easy, absolutely lovin’ it!

The thing is I also like to go back. For instance I assigned an lfo to panning. But later on I want to take the same modulation out again. To do this one has to open the mod matrix (or pre-program pedals or the modwheel). But to open the mod matrix and find the very controls for a specific source one needs two hands: Shift + source button. It’s cool but not intuitive in comparison to the assigning procedure, because one needs to stop touching the keyboard for a while.

It would be so cool if one could open the destinations for a source like an lfo by just double tapping the source button (just one idea).

Anyway, I am still finding out about the right work flow for me. Right now I realize that many times I am in a creative flow making all these modulation assignments while performing. But then I get lost in a patch and feel a bit static (unless assigning THEN a whole bunch of modulations to a pedal or mod wheel).

Maybe you can share some of your personal workflow tips?

I hope someone else can offer an idea for you.

I don’t know of any way to find and disable all modulations for a source other than going into the mod matrix. It’s not a problem for me because I’m often in the mod matrix anyway.

Don’t get me wrong: I love the modulation matrix!

I actually sent this suggestion to enter specific modulation destinations with a double click to Moog and they liked it. But it doesn’t seem like they will be updating the device anymore…
