Animoogz not restoring purchase on new macbook air

hi all

i have just got a new Mac Book (m5 air if it matters) after prev using animoogz on my old one (mbpro 2015).

in the store tab the price flashes up, quickly replaced by “restore purchase”. i click this and i get the ok dialog confirming my purchase has been restored.

however if i try to use effects tab i get the padlock in top right and are requested again to purchase.

i have rebooted the app and the device. no change.

it will repeatedly allow be to restore purchase and confirm it when completed

any ideas?

I think i solved it…

RESTORE purchases didn’t work. I actually had to “buy” it again, which was rejected because i already paid for it, but it then it did restore the purchases.

ho hum.

The fact that it keeps saying “restored” but still shows the padlock suggests the unlock isn’t being applied locally. I’d try deleting preferences or cache files—I ran into something similar with Among Us, and clearing leftover data surprisingly solved it.
