I know final is coming next week… but this is something IMPORTANT for me and many users around here. Sure we can live without it… BUT it’s not the same. It’s an hassle and not all of us have the ear trained to identify the exact bpms.
If the Editor can read it so should the display be able to show it when we move the Arp Rate knob… Same for the clock div when Externally Sync…
Don’t let this outside I know it will be hard to put it on this release, but for 1.0.1 along new FW do it please.
A lot of folks seem to want the Sub 37 to be the master clock at a precise BPM, or to play in sync with other gear without needing to use actual clock sync. The first of those goals definitely requires the ability to see and set the BPM on the Sub 37.
I am aware of how important this is to folks, and I do have a plan to implement it as soon as possible. It just required more work than we were comfortable adding to the project before v1.0.0, because even without this new feature we’re already something like a year overdue to release this update.
(No, adding BPM display will not take another year… but it wasn’t OK to add even another month to the project, at the time we were making this call).
Thanks for your enthusiastic support of this feature; I promise we’ll deliver it as soon as we can.
