Ableton push3 standalone issues with the messenger

I don’t seem to be able to get midi working over usb , did try changing midi options to all usb etc but the push3 just won’t see it. Not tried in the software version of ableton as of yet.

Works on DIN in and out one midi cable only which is good ! But when changing cc via automation , example setting osc2 to go up an octave when changing a pattern this does not kick in . Assigning the CC’s though with the max4 live plugin and manually changing does work , but doesn’t show the led going up on octave in the above case !

Any one else had similar issues and solved them? My firmware is at 1.0.8 and push3 updated to the latest beta release .

Cheers,

Ste

Have you tried using a different USB cable? Some cables only charge and don’t transmit data. Also, test it in the software version of Live to rule out a standalone mode issue.
