Ableton Live 7, Phatty VST and 3 controllers.

To Amos, or anyone else that may be able to answer this one. I have a Little Phatty, Phatty VST (1.1.3), Live 7 (Mac), a midi keyboard controller, a Korg nanoKontol and a Korg nanoPad. I want to use all 3 controllers through the VST to control the Phatty. I cannot seem to get it to work and I’ve tried several configurations. One controller is easier to figure out, but 3 makes things difficult.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Anybody?

Is that possible, to create a virtual “hub” to link multiple controllers through one input on the LP?

Are you using the USB or MIDI to communicate between VST and LP?

I’m not an expert on MIDI by any means, but I think you need something like a MIDIsport 4x4 (or more) and a good MIDI utility to do what you want to do.

Each MIDI device needs to be on it’s own port. Using a utility like MIDI-OX (is there a Mac version?) you can route the ins and outs so that the virtual outputs of the Korg devices and the MIDI keyboard are connected to the virtual input of the Little Phatty.

I haven’t tried using the Voyager editor as you describe with other controllers, but MIDI-OX should recognize the virtual port from the editor too, and you should be able to link it to the Phatty.

Thanks C7. I’ll try that.
