A blast from the past...

You will, no doubt, recognize this music piece from the film Midnight Express.
Hand-made short (and somewhat simplified) cover recorded on multi-track using only Minimoog D, Korg DW8000, DR-110, EHX Cathedral reverb, and Boss BF-3.
Only the Moog bass was triggered by the drum machine, everything else was played live.

Short and sweet. Enjoy.

Good job.

Blast from the past, indeed: I saw this movie a few months ago for the first time while I had been knowing the music since I’m a kid.

Really cool track, Alien, bon travail

May I suggest to control in the original track that the G occuring around 1:25 is major? You played the pahsed pad minor, but I’m quite usre it should be major as the melody suggests.

I was wondering if anyone would spot that little mistake ? Very good musical ear, stiiiiiiive !
There are also a few other mistakes in the bass line in the first part, as I was playing the notes with my right hand while they were triggered by the drum machine, and was doing a few other things with my left hand at the same time…

But those are not nearly as noticeable as a wrong chord type.

There are also a lot of little things missing from the original track. Mainly sound effects.

Thanks.
