3 Symptoms occur after OS 3.4 Update my RME

I have to say I’m a newbie but I have this problem after I did the OS3.4 update:

  1. The sound of the presets keeps continue (keep sustain),
    Though I can change the keys, but the sound always keeps going on. I try adjusting Envelopes shorten sustain and release time but It doesn’t work. I try switching between ENV.GATE… The sound keeps acting the same way. Except that When I press to ON/EXT mode it sounds brighter like a filter attack. The sound keeps sustain.

  2. Master volume knob doesn’t work. I cannot adjust the level.

  3. No sound from Headphone. I plug my headphone, no sounds and the HP knob is also not active.

What could cause it? How to solve this? Please advice. Many thanks!

Please take a look to MASTER page 4.1. Is the system and the boot version 3.4?
Did you download the right version for the RME or the keyboard version?
If you have the right versions please make a reset (MASTER page 3.4, ENTER, +1, CURSOR and ENTER).

Hi Rudi,

I did check that already and it’s 3.4. I’m pretty sure that the version is for RME since its indicate in the manual.

I follows your instruction on reset but it didn’t work … the sound keep sustain also can’t do anything with master volume ..

Then it is a hardware problem and it has nothing to do with the update.
Did you change the position of the RME when you made the update?

I didn’t change it to any position. I think I have to contact Moog service then. Thanks
