1/4" cables (are Stereo cables OK?)

Looking to pick up a bunch of colored patch cables and while Amazon has a whole bunch, most of them are stereo type (collar, ring tip?).

I have a Old School and an LP. Will getting these cause any issues?

Clearly, some of the Moogerfoogers have special application for Stereo plugs (usually breaking out into 2 standard 1/4").

Thanks

Hosa has balanced & unbalanced 1/4" colored cables. You should be able to access their site through Amazon.

There is a company that makes cables, and they are low quality but you can get them cheap. I don’t know if they are all TRS cables but the company is OSP and they make cheap stuffs here in Arkansas. I bought all kinds of patch cables from them for cheap.

They don’t have to be high quality cables just to send voltages through. You might want to go a better route (monster, lifetime warranty) for audio.

I bought their 20 space mixer rack cab too, they make decent stuff for decent prices.

To answer your question. TRS (stereo) cables will be fine and cause no problems. (In fact, with foogers, they are needed.)

Check out these18" cables:

I purchased a set of the three foot ones from this same seller earlier this year and I’m happy with them:

Sure, these are not as nice as cables made with Canare/Mogami/Belden/Gepco/Etc wire and Switchcraft/Nuetrik connectors, but for $1.75 a each, they will get you up and running quickly inexpensively and last for a while.

i buy all my TRS CV cables from the seller in the that 2nd ebay listing, totally can vouch for quality, they actually sound good for audio use too in a pinch (although i’m 100% mogami in that dept).
