can moogers hurt amps?

i use the self oscillating sinewave theremin deal on the Low Pass filter quite a bit, and have since put my amp in the shop twice, and had 2 different amps cut out on me during a gig.

Are these known to damage the amps with super low frequencies?

Any way to avoid this?

hmm right now i have the LFO amount at about 2 on LO, the rate about halfway, the resonance about half way and the sweep on 6. i get a pretty bright wooshing.

i guess i just dont know how to utilize the bassier tones...to me it sounds like im doing something wrong because it really muddies the tone ...

i enjoy the comprossor but i definitely haven't mastered it yet. its quite a little tone machine, good for boosting your signal for playing lead

Suggest favorite/fun knob configurations/patches

Hey guys, I know there is already a thread on favorite patch configs but I'd like to see your favorite knob levels as well.

I'm curious if anyone hear gets a sharp/bright/biting phaser sound with their 103. If I bring too much LFO in, it sweeps thru some very very bassy sounds and chords become ...

any other suggestions for a more BRIGHT, biting phaser sound would be much appreciated.

ive always found that sweep at zero gives me the brightest sound, or running a tube screamer before the mooger.

scroll down to the "help with powersupply" thread for more info.

Ii have a dc brick and it will not power the mooger foogers unless you reverse the polarity, this can be done with a simple red jumper cable that you can order ffrom stompin-ground.

the thing is, the brick only dishes out 375ma of ...

i dunno if id get the mooger delay for drums because i dont think you can hook up tap tempo,

to me this would be essential for drum delay, getting the cool triplet dub echos on the snare and stuff.

i think the lowpass filter with an expression pedal would be awesome.

ok so i purchased 3 red jumper cables from stomping-ground.com.

they switch the polarity coming out of my powersupply and they work. however i have yet to power all my pedals with my power supply because I'm afraid of overloading it.

Again, its the Dunlop DC Brick and the website says:

even 9V ...
