Moogerfooger: Will it work with a Voodoo Labs/Dunlop?

Post by Spank » Thu Sep 14, 2006 10:42 am

i'm trying to clean up my pedal setup and i want to use either a voodoolabs or a dunlop powerbrick. i'm just wondering if this will work with the moogerfooger or does the moogerfooger use some kind of unique plug which forces me to use the adapter packaged with the moogerfooger? if i'm not mistaken the moogerfooger uses 9volts so i *think* it should work, though i'm wondering what you guys say.

thanks in advance.

scroll down to the "help with powersupply" thread for more info.

Ii have a dc brick and it will not power the mooger foogers unless you reverse the polarity, this can be done with a simple red jumper cable that you can order ffrom stompin-ground.

the thing is, the brick only dishes out 375ma of 9volt power, which is only enough to power ONE moog. its a damn shame.

if you want polarity jumpers let me know, because i just bought some and now i have no use for them.

voodoo labs power w/ moogerfoogers

Post by redeyeflight » Sat Oct 21, 2006 8:38 am

I have used a voodoo labs power supply (the original one) with my moogerfoogers for a couple of years now with no problems whatsoever. I power four moogerfoogers at the same time off it too. You do have to special order some reverse polarity cables to do it though...not too expensive and much easier than using all the wall wart powers supplies that the moogerfoogers come with.
