Re: Subsequent 25 midi question
I’d suggest using something like a Morningstar MC6 to connect the three instruments. You can set up a single button to scroll PC numbers on multiple midi channels and within specified upper and lower values independently for each channel. You could probably even program it such that changing patches...

Re: LFO FM
Set mod buss 2’s source as filter EG and then press and hold buss 2’s destination button and turn mod buss 1’s pitch knob. This will assign buss 2’s assignable destination to buss 1’s pitch amount. Now use buss 2’s assignable knob to dial in the amount of filter EG signal controlling the pitch knob ...

Re: Minitaur with full interface and display for patch number
You could get something like a Morningstar MC6 and use it to scroll presets; you can set it to display the current patch number. You could also use MIDI CCs programmed to the other hardware buttons and/or expression pedal to gain easy access to the Minitaur’s under-the-hood features without having t...

Re: Minitaur still triggers above note range
There is another mode (wrap off) where it’ll just play the highest note in its range once you stray out of it. Still, an option for complete silence would’ve been useful.

Re: Subsequent 37: Assign Aftertouch to Filter
Couldn’t you also use source “pressure” and destination “filter”?

Re: Really Disappointed with Moog Quality Assurance
I would guess shipping too. I sent my Subsequent in to get the oscillator outputs balances and it came back with the box all bashed up and loose knobs. Sent it back again and it came back with one pot not working at all. Sent it back a third time making sure to reinforce all the packaging (internal ...

I’m also interested to hear if there are differences in the bass registers.

Re: controlling Sub37 by MIDI (cc2 espoecially)
Maybe use one mod buss as follows: Source: constant on Destination: VCA Set a positive amount on the Mod 1 amount knob (programmable destination). Then in the controllers menu for that buss, set breath control to 100% You’ll probably need to set a relatively low sustain level on the amp envelope too...

Have you been in touch with Will Gregory? If not, I strongly urge that you do so. His group does live performances of the Bach material all on synths.

How easy or difficult would it be to mod the Model D with the pitch wheel from the Grandmother (which is sprung)?

Are both units using the same MIDI channel? That could be a possible cause.

Low output of Subsequent 37 sub oscillator?
I’ve noticed that the output of my sub oscillator is lower than the equivalent square waves on oscillators 1 and 2. 10 on the sub oscillator is about the same level as 7 on the main oscillators; is this normal or should they all be capable of the same output?

Re: Moog One Answers
Frequency modulation (FM) I’m not sure I understand this parameter in an analogue synth. To me it’s about running another high frequency against your other oscillators. Which creates strobing audio effects like ring mod and cross mod. But on the other hand I know that DX7 were “fm” synths with “ope...

Re: Moog One FEATURE Requests
I’d like to see the option to have the octave transpose buttons be either instantaneous (as they currently are) or to only transpose upon playing the next note (or releasing the previous note).

Re: Moog One FEATURE Requests
I’d like to see the option of having multiple FM paths be simultaneously active. The button control for engaging more than one path could be implemented in the same as selecting multiple synths - by holding down the first button and pressing the other(s) that one wants to engage.
