Re: MiniMoog Model D Issue

have you emailed Moog support yet?

I have found them to be helpful, and they could at least give you some instructions to test some things out

Re: using a Voyager road case for a model D?

ah, thanks for the response!

I am talking about the Moog branded official cases that came with the Voyager. it sure looks to me like the D would fit in there; maybe I will pull the foam out and do some measuring

Re: Does anyone make a black overlay for the Matriach?

you could make one in photoshop, get it printed at a sign shop, and install it over top

using a Voyager road case for a model D?

has anyone converted one of those Moog voyager roadcases to carry a model D?

I assume you can replace the foam inserts with some that fit the D instead

the D is taller, but appears it will still fit in the case?

thx

Re: Sirin panel machine threading

maybe try a wood screw instead?

I have an old Hughes & Kettner stompbox, and they used little woodscrews to hold the chassis together. works great

Re: Minimoog Voyager Mixer Out/In

ah, that is interesting. So if I use the mixer out into an overdrive with a Y cable, but also split that overdrive output & feed it into the Ext in, it will control it's own little feedback loop. As it sets the level in the mixer, which also is fed back into itself via Ext in also thx for the tip on...

Re: Alternative editor/librarian?

I think the ctrlr link was supposed to work inside your DAW, so you can send program changes & control it "live" with a GUI

I guess you could send MIDI program changes by setting up a MIDI track as well. but not as convenient?

Re: Minimoog Voyager Mixer Out/In

are you saying the Ext mixer dial is a send?

I assumed it only controlled the return signal level, into the Voyager?

Re: Moog Grandmother Midi In - lights blinking, no sound

try turning on the sequencer & holding some keys down?

it should at least play in sync with your MIDI clock

if that works, it indicates a routing/software problem sending the notes to GM, I suspect?

Re: Minimoog Voyager Mixer Out/In

Well, consider using pedals with an "settable" input gain, or use/build a volume pedal :) I think Stiiiiiive's advice is worth heeding. All my experiments point to this crucial element, to control the signal going INTO the pedal I tried: Big Muff Fuzz Face MF Drive Garnet Guillotine Maestro OD-60 R...
