Yes definitely. It doesn't work on USB alone. It for some reason requires both USB and din midi to work properly. I had better stability with win7 32.

I'm sure that most of us here are aware of the ongoing problems with the editor but I've found something else unusual.

I can get the standalone editor to connect with the SF. Turning a knob on the SF turns the editor knob etc. But when you try it in reverse i.e. turn the editor knobs a few times ...
