weak move on their behalf if that is the case.

i love moog, but paying more for presets after nearly dishing out a down payment on a house is a bit much. although the house parallel in todays market doesn't really work...

Where to find the old Squarewave Yahoo Presets

A long time ago, I downloaded sysex files from the Squarewave Yahoo group of Moog sounds, organized by instrument category. Those disappeared when the Squarewave group disappeared and unfortunately my computer crashed and I lost all those!

Have those completely vanished?

get music math. has a hz to bpm counter then go off the knobs lables to get a rough idea, use your ears, then send a midi sync message at the rate you'd like

Sure, you can approximate sync.
Here is how:
Set up Logic to route MIDI clock to Moog.
On the Moog set the clock-divider to the appropriate value (1/4, Dotted 1/4 etc etc)
Then, using MusicMath (or any equivalent calculator), find the HZ value for the appropriate rhythm using the 'delay time ...

With a doepfer with the wasp filter mod I can get sounds like that. I got a doepfer just recently because I wasn't able to get that squelchy nasty sound outta the voyager and it has made a perfect addition to the Moog with Vx-351 for some really wicked sounds. I found that the moog filter is just to ...

Voyager won't recieve touchpad messages

Hi there,

I've got an Electric Blue Voyager and I'm trying to get it to recieve touch pad messages that I just recorded into Logic. It records the message fine, but won't perform them on the Voyager even though the MIDI IN light flashes when it gets the message.

Any thoughts appreciated. I'm ...

In Logic I'm finding if manually draw in CC#19 (general 4) it playsback fine (7bit) using moog version 3.2

What is strange is that it is only recording CC#51 and when I play that recording back nothing happens. Converting CC#51 to #19 results in some very strange behavior. Neat, but not quite ...

BTW, I'm not complaining...cause it does sound incredible apart from that little bit. Running it through my Drawmer 1969 ME Tube DI is screamin!

Hi Brian,

Thanks for responding. I'm trying not to get emotional, you know how it is...?

Thing is, there was no resonance on that patch. That was the initialized patch setting with everything set neutral, except the cutoff halfway down. The thing that disturbed me was that on all the patches as ...

Just bought a used Voyager-Strange Noises, Please Help!

Just today I bought a used Voyager (Electric Blue). My first analog synth...had to have one after I played a buddies!

Anyhow, I'm a bit distraught. Hopefully I'm doing something wrong, but there is some strange 'noise' which kinda sounds like distortion and oscillation if I were to describe it. I'm ...
