Thanks EM...actually from what your saying it sounds as though my 904C may be working normally. The disappearing frequencies and very strong control input effect are what I'm getting..so maybe the faults I imagine are actually normal?
But it would great to see/hear any 904C video etc.

Re: 904C. Cloned ...working...but suspect..
Thanks EM
I pretty much have a good waifer switch replica as used by Moog and I've checked it over and over for connection and wiring ...all seems to be in order.
But like you say I find using the 904C pretty frustrating, particularly using EG control on the control inputs.
Which is why I suspected ...

904C. Cloned ...working...but suspect..
My 904 C combination seems to be working ....but I'm not sure about the setting when switched to Band Pass.
The audio signal on Band Reject comes thru more or less Ok however, on Band Pass I have to juggle with both the Bandwidth and Centre Frequency to actually get audio thru and it seems to be ...

Re: Moog Modular Keyboard inquiry
Excellent archaeology work CZ...these EG's are indeed highly desirable and as you say if only the schematics were available. ( perhaps somewhere?)
I notice that these units correspond to the Carlos "Touch Sensitive" custom modules on her modular.
It would be very interesting if this could be ...

Is there any more info regarding the basic envelope generators featured on the early 950's ? I've heard this mentioned before.

Thanks ...
I'm hoping the victims are Q17 Q 21 as they look like there in the front line for incoming fire.

I killed my 904a clone...
I had a bad 12v short in my system ...all the other modules seem fine but my 904a is dead. I'm assuming it's the short that caused the problem as it was fine up to then.
I'm wondering where to start looking...I guess it must be a blown transistor ? as I cannot see any component damage or track ...

Re: adding vibrato to bank of 921b's
Thanks for this....I imagine this could be causing the tuning anomaly.
So.......I'm using the Dot .Com VCO with a low sine wave output as vibrato signal control ...how would I determine if it has DC content ( volt meter? ) ...and eliminate it or is it 0 symmetrical? (Oscilloscope?)
I didn't ...

Re: Club of the Knobs psu
Thanks for all your help
I guess best stick to the 12 v supply rather than risk it with a costly module.
I need to organise my PSU collection.

Re: Club of the Knobs psu
Thanks Eric....
I have one module each from .Com / COTK in my modular so now I have to have three PSU units in there ...
+ 12. -6. -10. Moog
+ 15 -15. .Com
+ 12. -12. COTK
and also + 5
So I was hoping to cut out the + - 12v
Actually their all becoming external seeing how the modular never goes ...

Re: s trig
Yes...all the 911's work fine however I'm wondering if they need a certain " strength" S trig....
My Mididac C V convertor doesn't generate S trig so I've incorporated a V to S trig circuit in there.
But is this giving a correct strength Moog S trig.?
What I really really could do with is knowing ...
