Ok guys, I hope this works as it should. I made a patch sheet for the Sub 37. It's in A4 format. Print it in B/W and everything should look ok. Hope it's ok with you guys ...

ARP Midi-send problem.
Hi Guys,
Have a problem I can't figure out.
Setup is that the arp controlls an external oscillator (Doepfer Dark Energy). This works fine while the 37 is in control of things, but when I put the ARP in syncmode so that it follows my Cubase. Then it (the 37) stops triggering/playing the DDE in the ...

Re: Filter Knob problem (SUB 37)
I've noted a similair problem on my Filter Knob. It is not extremely disturbing but still it skips something sometimes in the area between 500-1.2k. I have still not decided if its actually worth sending the machine over the atlantic.

Re: Sub37 Chords
Thanks for the info! Just so I understand you correctly - the werkstatt gets note info from the arpeggio in the 37. Then you tweek it so you get "kinf of" three different notes.
The third oscillator is my Werkstatt that I modded to accept MIDI IN. I send MIDI OUT to that from the Sub 37 and get ...

Re: Sub37 Chords
How did you set up the externa sound sorurce? Is it controlled by an external sequenser, or does it play at random? Did you sync it in anyway to the clock of the 37?

Marten

Re: Sub37 Chords
Brilliant! Stealing it :)
Hey All -
Used the 2 mod buses with square wave LFO's to toggle Osc2 and a third osc from ExtIn each tuned to a different interval. The LFO's are synced but at different rates. Gives the sensation of chords kinda-sorta :) Latched the arppegiator to create the melody ...

Re: Sub 37 feature suggestions - firmware updates
Agreed. Update process is quite simple and straight forward.
I have to agree with Peter… I use C6 to send the four files in sequence and had no problem at all
Edit : usually with any flash memory based update facility the boot/download program is protected from overwriting so while you might ...

Hi there Amos,
Thanks for the reply!

The second part (below) of this post is no longer valid. Today saturday I have moved around some things, installed a trial-version of Cubase 7 on another computer. On this setup the 37 works fine over USB and over the MIDI-interface. Earlier today I also ...

Could very well be - would you feel kind enought to post the instructions perhaps? Then I will check it out.

Re: Moog Sub 37 hangs when receiving DAW - midi
Really would love some input, or thoughts from MOOG, on this one because, my 37 just don't work in the DAW-environment.
Some adition to the info:
When playbacking a track from the transport in Cubase 5 the MIDI-led on the Sub37 lights up continuosly and stays that way. It does not blink as it is ...

Re: v1.0.4
Yes well - one never knows ;) Anyway, since all the fales seem to be the same as before - I will have to hope for a soon 1.05 update because my 37 hates my DAW.
Great! I will have to try this one to see if there is any improvement over the 1st version of 1.04. Right now I can't use the 37 with my ...

Great! I will have to try this one to see if there is any improvement over the 1st version of 1.04. Right now I can't use the 37 with my DAW. It goes berzerk when receiving any kind of transport message fom Cubase. Rather anoying

Re: Sub 37 feature suggestions - firmware updates
That's a great idea! No .. not really, just kiddin ;)
No.6 - It wuold have been great if the "High range" button on the LFO's actually had a third function - say a second push - that would allow the LFO for even slower oscillations.
Both the LFO and the Envelopes are a bit "short" on the machine ...

Re: Sub 37 feature suggestions - firmware updates
Don't know if this have been posted already but I really would have liked:
1. White noise - the pink noise simply doesn't do it for me. It's far too brutish for me and you miss out on all those smooth windy sounds. (Suspect this is hardware though, and not software)
