Re: Messenger knob/panel calibration?
yeah, this does seem to be a common issue. some other people on sequencer.de are reporting the same thing.

Re: Messenger panel calibration?
just to illustrate, here is what the neutral/center position of the osc2 mod amount pot looks like on my messenger. according to moog, that's just fine.

Re: Messenger panel calibration?
bad news from inmusic customer support: they were very friendly, immediately understood the issue, and checked back with moog tech - with sobering results:
- this is indeed a pot calibration issue.
- pots can only be calibrated by moog technicians. there is no user-accessible pot calibration ...

Re: Messenger panel calibration?
apparently, my unit isn't the only one affected by this issue - although it seems worse on mine, affecting other knobs than just the tune knob.
as mentioned in the other thread, i've created a support ticket with inmusic about this and would encourage anybody experiencing similar issues to do the ...

Re: Tuning calibration?
Anyone else experiencing this issue?
same here, and it's not limited to the tune knob on my unit - which is why i started a thread of my own before finding yours.
on mine, it's actually worse on the osc2 freq and osc mod amount knobs. 😕
this clearly seems to be a knob calibration issue, so ...

Messenger knob/panel calibration?
I'm loving the sound & features of my new Messenger, but the knobs don't seem to be calibrated correctly:
- With bipolar control knobs, the neutral position isn't at the center/noon position. This is most noticeable with everything to do with oscillator pitch.
For example, the neutral (A = 440 ...

Re: Any Mother-32 Questions?
does the vc lfo track 1v/oct, so that it can be used as a second vco?
(the werkstatt's doesn't)
The Werkstatt does track to 1v/oct, you just have to calibrate it. If Mother does not track 1v/oct out of the box (which would surprise me since they are aiming at Eurorack) then you can calibrate it ...

Re: Any Mother-32 Questions?
Midi Poly chain wth more than one Mothers ,is it possible?
there are two ways to achieve this:
1. midi polychaining: use the (sadly, discontinued) mutable instruments midipal (or one of its diy successors ). its 'dispatcher' app can turn any combination of midi-synthesizers into individual ...

Re: Any Mother-32 Questions?
about the second crossfader (mix1, mix2, vc mix):
the manual says that it is dc coupled and all the examples in the manual are about mixing or attenuating control voltage signals. does this crossfader work with audio signals, too?
[edit:] actually, this is answered in the manual :
This is a DC ...

Re: Sub37 keys...hanging too far out from panel? Moog to fix
i finally received my 'felt strip kit' two weeks ago - almost 3 months after they said they'd send it to me. i installed it yesterday.
it consists of a strip of foamed rubber with some adhesive on one side and a wider strip of some kind of black textile glued to other side. they call it a 'felt ...
