What about a tap tempo feature? possible?

Yes, just a difficult situation when you´re about to record without knowing the exact tempo.
But, if you send a CC #3 message you can set up right the amount that you want. Please check page 38 of the Sub Phatty manual, it was very helpfull for me.

i been looking for an app for android who can change/control sub phatty parameters and I couldn´t find it. As you said, this would give much more freedom to the synth, as you don´t need a computer to control the hidden parameters (or in my case, Load/Save presets)

To automate the recall of the SubPhatty Preset Bank patches, you have to rec any clip on ableton and in the Note window, there´s a Pgm Change option. I think it would work, but is far from being practical. I must use the doble of bank spaces, which is a big problem, ´couse in a live concert, i´m using lots of sounds and also could be kind of difficult to apply. I should press two preset buttons every time i´m changing sounds.
