The bass sound sounds to me either like from a Yamaha DX7 or it's just heavily post-processed with effects like Chorus. I suggest you try to create simple Bass Sound sounding as close as possible and then experimenting with a Chorus effect.

I own a Slim Phatty and Sub37 for some months now. I know currently the Sub37 editor is in development and will be realeased soon hopefully.

I'm no expert, but maybe you could try to reload the firmware (MASTER+POWER ON .. etc.). Take a look in the firmware upgrade section on the main page (and also read the other posts in this board).

Little Phatty code is so complex and inter-dependent... it is so hard to change anything without causing additional unintended effects.
