Hi,
this is how I use the Sub with Ableton:
1st: Connect the Sub with Midi Cables to some MIDI Interface. I hope you have one, if not, they are cheap. ;)
2nd: Add an external Instrument to a track and change the Midi Out to the Interface / Sub and the Audio in to wherever the audio goes in.

Well,
I used an Audio Interface with the Setup now (Sub still connected with USB) and it works fine. I don't know what the Interface had to do with this but I won't complain if it works.
However, I have some crashes with Ableton now.

I got my Sub Phatty and i want to use the Editor with it. So I used Ableton to send Midi via the external instrument and it works realy fine.
