... so now it occasionally works, however, crashes randomly, corresponding erratically to midi (two different 5 pin sources, two different USB / computers). I was normal for about 20 minutes, which was awesome, and then it went back to its current state. I have restarted it 30 times, every time it ...

well thanks: for the ultraswift reply, and because i did not have to guess what i should do. I did it all multiple times (erase and reinstall firmware)
but did not know about the reset sysex ... thanks a bunch!

I would like to know how many of us are still around - the "my minitaur plays only one high pitched note and
does not respond to any knob turning or midi input except bleep bleep bleep bleep" club. Happens no matter
if i use usb or ordinary old school midi 5 pin, and no matter which order ...

Same here: does not react to anything. Doesnt matter if its USB or MIDI 5 PIN. Plays the same high pitch note.
I am deeply surprised by this lack of care in a renowned - say legendary - brand such as moog. This is clearly not a standalone issue, since others are experiencing it.
