Re: Sub Phatty Pitch Wheel & Pitch Adjust Knob Issues
Mine is doing this as well, all I have to do is bump it and it will throw the synth out of tune. I was getting around it by being really careful, but, when it goes out of tune while my mother/eurorack setup is playing with it, well, it gets ugly.

Re: Sub Phatty automation question
You can automate as many parameters as you want with overdubs or recorded in realtime. Though, I've never used the editor for this, I just track it till I get it right

Re: Sub Phatty Noise influences LFO speed
I've got the same issue...though, the LFO returns to it's normal specified rate after I stop moving the Noise knob.

Re: Sub Phatty Filter Cutoff Knob glitching out (Video)
Troglodisme: I just called them, US phone number that Amos posted. Talked to Andy and got a return authorization. Sent it back, which cost a ton because I double boxed it, but, after the whole mix/EG board was replaced, I'll have it back By Tuesday next week. I still lost money on the whole deal ...

Re: Sub Phatty Ableton Live Workflow
I haven't used it with the editor yet, but, via USB, I can input and receive MIDI and route the audio from the Sub's output back through my interface. I use the "external instrument" plugin in ableton to designate it as the controller and designate the audio input to hear the audio.
Hope that helps ...

Re: my subphatty doesn't work
The blinking LFO light means it's ready to accept new firmware. I went through the same situation, thought it was toast after firmware seemed to load correctly, worked for a bit, but, after a reboot, it wasn't functional. Make sure all of your transfer settings are correct in whatever firmware ...

Re: Sub Phatty Filter Cutoff Knob glitching out (Video)
Well, it's on it's way back to Ashville!
$111.00 to ship it, but, Moog's covering the return shipping...very cool!
Andy was very helpful, can't wait to get it back!

Re: Sub Phatty Glide - Cant turn off?
Just turn the glide knob all the way down.
No glide
I find the glide function much more useful with Legato Glide enabled also...that way if you play staccato notes, there is no glide even if the knob is up.

Just wanted to say I pulled the video from youtube...
Figured the Moog service people may have had the day off (Labour Day).
I'll give em a call tomorrow and get it sorted out! Shouldn't be an issue since the synth has never been misused or dropped/slammed by anything.
...good thing my bandmate ...

Re: Sub Phatty Filter Cutoff Knob glitching out (Video)
I should also note that this is a tiny bit of up and down play in the potentiometer shaft. I took the knob off and everything is secured, but, it feels like the shaft itself can be pressed down a tiny bit, and then the filter works as long as I keep pressure on it.

Here is a video demonstrating my cutoff knob wigging out when I touch it. Another user posted of a similar experience.
I've tried it Local ON, Local OFF, and tried it with Snap, pass-through, and relative modes.

Mine is doing the same thing, no midi/usb/computer, local on.
If I push down on the pot a bit it travels normally, but, if I bump it, it skips around. Seems like it's shorting against something. The pot is secured to the panel just fine, I think it's a solder or something.
Bummer time

INIT Preset stopped the droning, and AMP EG Release is back on board!
I'll re-upgrade to the latest firmware and play with USB MIDI again, see if I can replicate the CC that caused the problem in the first place.
Thanks again for your amazing product support!

Re: Down to just a blinking LFO Rate light on the Sub Phatty
Also, about Osc 2, it was tracking fine, I just couldn't dial a unison that was accurate between all octaves, I would typically have to tune about a 1/4 step one way or the other, higher octaves yielded a flat OSC 2, lower were sharp.
