If you hold out for a 15 then that would be better. Of course there is nothing wrong with the clones like Moslab (no longer in production) or Synth-Werk. The difference in sound is negligible.

You can always consider a Model D as the sound is different enough to give you some variety.

For those that aren't active on FB, fortunately there haven't been any tragic reports regarding current or former Moog empmoyees or their homes afaik., but the communities are in for a huge recovery.

I toured the factory about a week or so before they announced the sale. They didn't have a lot beyond shirts that I remember seeing. Maybe a thermos but that was it.

And Moog has been radio silent when asked about merch.

Now the BMF always has great stuff, pint glasses everything.

The 1028 SN might make it #28 if they went by some of the traditional Moog numbering systems.

When I started to clone the System 55, I thought the 904c is not that interesting, as it just serializes and parallelizes the 904a and 904b, so I cloned it just for completion ...

The KC-880 is awesome and stereo but it doesn't appear to have a lot of headroom. You might want to also consider an old Fender Bassman. They lack the oomph of modern bass amps but provide wonderful frequency response.
