he is not a Moog Music employee, but the best Moog repairman on this side of the Atlantic and the one behind the LAMM and the maker of only Bob Moog approved Minimoog Midi interface.

On the Waldorf WAVE there are several modes selctable to solve this "problem":
- the mode we got right now

- the snap mode
you once have to sweap the knob through the value that was stored till the knob goes active.

- relative mode
the knob will change the stored value relative to its possition ...

I am not into noise gates at all. Better ask others.

- Is the noisy unit on the one channel you found using an external power supply?

- Is the cable of this channel maybe running very close to a transformer of another unit (or its own)?

- Is the sound still present if you unplug the power of this ...

You need to find the reason why there is a buzz first.
Using a EQ to reduce the buzz in the stereo sum is not the right way to go.

You don't need to use balanced cables for a few feets of line level lines.
But you need balanced cables for mics and long distance lines for sure.
Avoid running power ...

Just because data is lightweight and can be copied a million times or more very fast and easily, it is still protected by the copyright law.

The neck is fixed to the body. Undoing it would need some modifications and a chain saw

The info by Moog Music was, that the OS 3.0 software would run on the older digital Voyager boards. But of cause without the ability of switching banks. The expanded memory chips are the (?) differences in the two boards.

If you get it opening the filter, then just set the sustain of the filter ebvelope to zero.

Beginners tip for full filter opening and closing by the envelope:

- set the filter modulation by the envelope to zero and set the filter cutoff then to that the sound isa filtered as low as needed.
