Agreed, there's nothing special about that Voyager patch, and a Phatty can certainly cover a sound like that. Realise also, in the video, a couple of Foogers were being used as well. You can use any fx you want with a Phatty, and delay especially is very useful. But, it's time to learn subtractive ...

Welcome MooGoogle.

They have only discontinued the customizable Select Series of the Voyager (and the Old SChool version a few years ago). All other models, Electric Blue, Performer, XL (Extra Large), Rack Mount Edition (RME), are all still being produced, AFAIK.

Why has Moog discontinued the Voyager?!

Just out of curiosity why has Moog discontinued the Voyager? Are they coming out with a new minimoog synth or maybe even something different? The reason Im asking is because Im not sure if its a good time to buy now, or should I wait incase Moog comes out with something better!

Possibile to get a sound like this on the PHATTY?

I just recently got my first analog synth, and Im excited about the excellent sounds! but now Im drooling over the Voyager... I really wish the Phatty had a 3rd oscillator! :roll: :wink: 8) :evil:

Anyways is there anyway to dial in a sound like this on the phatty?
