Old topic, but I too have this problem... My Minitaur is on firmware version 2.1.1. The noise starts to be audible after note starts to fade away, it goes around 5khz. Also, when I turn off usb cable the noise is little bit quieter but still there. On first firmware I had there was no noise at all ...

I used old editor to bounce all my patches to minitau. Then I bounced those patches from minitaur to the new editor. I don't think new editor supports old patches.

I am using the Minitaur Editor in conjunction with midiox/midiyoke, so I can use it whilst using the DAW at the same time.

I also have this issue..I've read somewhere else that you have to hook up both midi and usb when using minitaur with sequencer. In my case, in cubase, if i choose in midi input my usb midi keyboard and midi output-minitaur usb on channel 1 I can play it, but minitaur editor in that case is not ...
