So I have an RMA request out to Moog service anyway but thought I'd ask around here and see if anyone's had a similar issue and been able to resolve it. :?

Issue:

At band practice today we ran through our entire set with no problems. Moog is being sequenced by an Electribe EMX-1 via midi ...

There's no Physical Paraphonic capability but this iPad app seems to enable it via CC control of Osc 2 and 3 pitch.

Try two pulse waves spread an octave with the filter rolled off a bit. the main part of that sound is adding some Portamento. to get that sliding around happy tone.

Alternately try a Saw on the lower tuned osc. a decent amount of portamento is really key to nailing that sound.

Open a support ticket on Moog.com. If you feel handy with a multi-meter and screw-driver they can send you the documents about calibrating the envelopes.

New favorite I came up with in the past week.

Osc1/2 around 8-16'' slight detuned for sweet chorus. Saw or square to taste.

Osc3 off but set to triangle at 32'

Pedal bus source osc3, destination filter. No shaping

Play lower on the keybed. Bring in the filter mod. It'll get brighter and ...

Still issues with not being able to save presets on the iPhone versions of Animoog and Filtatron

you could use the effects loop. just need a stereo to mono Y-cable. then run the loop out to the external in creating a loop before the filter.

Dudes it says on the site, whitewash ash and black ash. so both the white and blacks are made of ash

It's in the manual. you need to look up turning off Midi Out. You want to have it receive midi only not transmit :)

Got the notification today. Repairs are finished and it's on the way back. 7 weeks wait plus 5 weeks repair wait = 12 weeks total

I think they're doing 24 of each wood with the 10 year anniversary badge on the side cab.

In the edit menu man 123or4 pole for each.

Check the filter pole settings are identical for filter a and b . if those are the same try adjusting your spacing and see how out of whack it is. Probably a question for tech support after that.
