Can someone pleeeeeaaase tell me what the settings of ableton and the phatty vst have to be set at in order for it to worK?

my god i am dumb... yeah I didn't need both midi cables lmao. for some reason I thought the midi had to go to the keyboard to play the moog... but ableton is playing the moog.... if that makes any sense. thanks for pointing out how dumb i am :p

it's not ableton. I can see if my connections are working from the Mac os x audio midi set up in the preferences

i did have presets but reset to factory anyways
mac osx 10.7.3
moog is 3.11
usb to mac to send and receive midi. Midi notes are being sent through usb from mac to the moog, but not from the moog to the mac. And midi is being sent to the moog.

This is definitely a problem with the moog because when i go to midi setup in the mac osx preferences the notes played on the keyboard aren't being recognized. I've rebooted everything, restored factory settings, cycled and what not without midi cables in, un plugged and plugged bad in to different ...

Ok so I opened up a new project and the terrible latency had to do with something in the project, but still no moog being noticed. I'm wondering why my moog every time I restart it the midi setup menu goes to "all note off" ...? is that normal?

everything is set up right in ableton... all the midi cables are set up right. Everything is working other than ableton receiving notes from the keyboard. I don't know what's going on... I've tried restarting everything with only the usb plugged in... ugh
