as random as things are, the LP is now working in its Midi function with Logic... its likely to have been an issue with the Logic Environment window although i will add that i had also reset the LP to its Factory state prior to the workings....? which came first i cannot tell..

It's a wierd & random one.. Is there a best way to delete any preferences, reset the LP, or work around the problem?

That is a pretty standard setup which has worked for me with my other synths however the LP does work for me this way? (USB)
when i set this up with your directions i get midi signal into the track arrange window.. when i press record there is none.. no midi is recorded ...
