Can I control Voyager RME with Multimoog?

Hi

Can I use my Multimoog to play my Voyager RME? I'd like to use the keyboard CV output and the pressure cv instead of using midi from my master keyboards. Is that possible?

I assume I would need the VX-352 although from the instructions I found in the manual I was't sure if it would work.

Also ...

Re: Why is LOCAL always OFF?

Answers: Yes, I was blaming Sonar for doing this but I just noticed that Local was off long before I started Sonar!

And yes the OS version was the same as the Boot version; 3.5

And yes I have now updated with the new version and they are both 3.6

And yes, IT WORKED!! Hurray!! Thanks so much! Also ...

Why is LOCAL always OFF?

Hi

I have a small but highly annoying problem. When I turn on my Voyager RME, the screen always says "ALL CONTROLLERS OFF". Why is that? I did not set it to do that on purpose and I really need them to be on so I can create sounds!

How can I set it so that LOCAL is ON every time I turn the ...

Slim Phatty - Can't Save LFO Sync Clk Div

Hi

I did some searching and couldn't find this exact issue so I hope I didn't overlook something.

I just tried to sync the Slim Phatty LFO to MIDI clock. I set it up and it worked perfectly, but the default for the Clk Div was 1/2. I changed it to 1/16 and it sounded fine. But then when I saved ...

Re: Strange midi delay problem

I know this is an old thread but luckily I searched before posting and found this. Fixed the problem perfectly!!! I had a horrible problem where every time I played the slim phatty (and only that synth) the first note I played was delayed by about 200ms. Ruined a lot of takes! Switching Autotune ...

Mod and Pitch Bend Cause Buzzing

Hi!

I have just noticed a strange problem. I control my Voyager RME with an M-Audio Keystation Pro 88 through Sonar X1 and I've just noticed that when I move the Mod wheel I hear a buzzing as I'm turning it. Same happens with the pitch bend wheel if the pitch is being bent more than a minor third ...

Re: Voyager Master Volume Doesn't Go To Zero

New info, just FYI....

First, just to restate, it's not at full volume, it's quiet, as if the master volume is still at 1, or maybe even lower. It's a problem for me because I have 5 synths on the same midi channel. I've found it's much easier to keep the ones I use the most all together like this ...

Re: Voyager Master Volume Doesn't Go To Zero

I agree with calibration. I hope it's something I can do myself. I have a feeling I'm going to be using this thing every day from now on. I don't really want to be without it for a week or two.

Filter bleed? Nope. It's the full sound of a note being played. Envelopes and all. If I play no notes ...

Re: Voyager Master Volume Doesn't Go To Zero

Yeah I just tried it. Might get a little quieter for a second but Not much. No change after working it for a while. It feels really clean, I doubt it's that. Maybe a cold solder joint, I don't know. I have some deoxit I could spray in there if I open it up. No hurry though. I'll see if anyone else ...

Voyager Master Volume Doesn't Go To Zero

Hi

I just got a used Voyager RME and everything seems to work fine (GREAT, in fact!! Blown away by this thing!! Makes the slim phatty I got last year seem like a toy! But I digress...) except the master volume knob. When I turn it all the way down then play a key, I can still hear sound. Generally ...

My Solution to the Slim Phatty Tuning Problems

Well, I've had the Slim Phatty for a couple for weeks now and have been using it exclusively to record a track and I'm pretty much resigned to the fact that tuning will always be a problem. I haven't spent much time experimenting with the "Auto tune" function because I'd rather be making music right ...

Re: Presets - Too much detuning! Is this a Problem?

Welp, I think I just had one of those stuck notes. This was more like feedback though. Sounded like something was feeding back internally. It was a very high pitched tone that went away while I was playing but was always there between notes. I couldn't get rid of it except by turning the unit off ...

Re: Presets - Too much detuning! Is this a Problem?

Oh, and no stuck notes so far. I have 2 keyboards for controllers. One is the M-Audio Keystation Pro 88 and the other is a Roland D-50. Both go into an M-Audio Midisport 8x8 and through Sonar 7.

I really haven't spent a lot of time with it yet though. I just got it home Monday night and last night ...

Re: Presets - Too much detuning! Is this a Problem?

Wow, that worked!! Thanks a lot! Although that's the longest store sequence I've ever seen... Hopefully we can shorten that by 30 or 40 keystrokes at some point.

And yeah, mine is also brand new and is 3.03 617/30

I wasn't sure about that auto-tune feature the first time I read the manual, so I'll ...
