I think there are a wide range of options depending on what you want it to sound like and what you use it for. If you want it to do a little of everything then a full range PA style setup or keyboard amp is the best because it does little to colour the tone. However, I use mine for bass and love ...

It really needs to be run thru a PA system, mine sounds great thru our 2000watt system

What kind of amplifier works best with LP?
I have tried my little phatty through several different amps including a Fender bassman 200, a Vox AC30 and a Marshall VST amp. It may be a preference thing but I'm still interested to listen to any advice or set ups people are using
