Re: Your favourite bass settings - Describe!

Oscillator 1: 32" saw mixed full volume
Oscillator 2: 16" saw, sync engaged mixed about half volume. Use a mod bus to route control the pitch of osc 2 from the mod wheel (sync sweeps)
Oscillator 3: set to modulate filter cutoff. Use 2" for vowel sounds coming from the filter, 16" or 32" for more ...

Re: Voyager and Eurorack Modular Synth

Yep. I use mine as a master controller for a large Euro modular as well as with a smaller Modcan/MOTM/Oakley system. Works great.

Re: ableton sequencing OldSchool

Is there a consensus on hardware based sequencers? I did a bit of research and it appeared dot com? and doepher ones were popular. Not really sure what I would be looking for beyond say 16 steps and maybe a random button? Any thoughts?

Sounds like a Future Retro Orb (or Revolution) would be up ...

Re: My Voyager + Digital Oscillators (GO MODULAR!)

Thanks! I saw your pic in the other thread - looks like a pretty nice setup you've got there! How are the Mopho and the Kaoss stuff treating you?

The Stackables are nice and really do save you from having to do multing, but I wish they came in more colors. Also, some people were concerned that ...

My Voyager + Digital Oscillators (GO MODULAR!)

The Voyager made me totally fall in love with analog synthesis and voltage control. In fact, I came to love voltage control so much that I decided to get the Voyager some new friends:

Another point of view:
I'm not sure what you'd really gain from adding another analog oscillator. If you had independent outpus and CV inputs for each of the oscs on the Voyager, I could see how another analog oscillator might be useful (you could sync osc 1&2 and 3&4 together, for example). But you ...

Nice! I saw you post that pic on either GS or MF and thought "That guy's going to have a lot of fun soon!". How's the Flight of Harmony working for you? I've contemplated picking up a Plague Bearer but have heard very little from people who have actually used FoH stuff.

Psicolor: Mellow electronic funk indeed! Very laid back. I like.

Anyone else been up to any goodness with their Voyager recently?

I'm not sure how to remove the nut. It's right up against the back panel and the power connector makes it hard to access. Pliers aren't doing the job. Should I be using a wrench for this? It seems odd that doing the job would require such a thing.

Thanks for the quick reply! I'm having trouble with the lock tab... what exactly does it look like? The inner connector (as far as I can tell) has three main parts: the board (that the cable/lead connects to), a threaded cylinder, and a nut. On the main board, there is a small piece of metal that ...

Moving the CP-251's power connection to the back panel?

I recently purchased a mounting kit so that I can put my VX-351 and CP-251 together. However, I'm not really sure how to move the power input from the top of the CP to the rear, as there weren't any instructions. Can anyone help me out here?

Relatedly, is the special wooden middle connector piece ...
