Moog MF-104z and expression pedals for sale

This forum has been very helpful to me while I have owned this awesome delay. However, it's too nice for how much I am using is these days. I thought there may be someone on this forum who would like first crack at it before it goes up on ebay.

I have had it less than a year and I am selling it ...

tap tempo delay

Is Moog any closer to developing a way to get the mf-104z to have tap tempo? Perhaps the 201 controller can do this someday...

Is there someone at moog who can mod the mf-104z delay

I would love to have the option to have the effects loop affect the first echo of the delay as well as keep its current function of affecting the second repeat and building upon that. Is it possible to mod the mf-104z in this way?
I know there is a current infinite repeat mod. Maybe the person doing ...

I have the 104z and love the tone and cv inputs. I used to have an sib blue echodrive and I think the moog is definitely a step up. I don't mean to hijack this thread but I have had to return mine 3 times in less than 5 months because the power inputs have all been faulty. Has anyone else had this ...

I am already using the effects loop to good effect. I'd like to get something for the CV inputs. I've heard you can connect other foogers or the CP-251 to affect the quality of repeats. I've just never actually heard any examples of this for guitar. I'd appreciate any advice from experience.

mf-104z with which other moogerfooger?

The title says is all. Which moogerfooger should I get to go along with my mf-104z? I want to modulate the delay but I don't know if the cp-251 is the way to go or something else. I am using my 104z with electric guitar in an afro cuban jazz trio and a funk/reggae band.

Why is your amp in the loop? Are you processing the tone further with it?

Be careful not to overload the input signal too much so you don't fry anything.

Eric

The amp isn't in the loop. I tried to make a diagram in my last post and it came out weird. It's a normal live setup. Guitar ...

Bryan T wrote:This was my biggest surprise when I got my Analog Delay. I liked to use pretty dramatic effects (pitch shifting, ring modulation, etc.) in the loop and having that first 'normal' repeat was kind of odd.
Did you keep the Moog?

An idea is to take the signal out of the mf-104z through the mix out and delay out (delay out -> octave pedal) then to a Y cable, then to the amp.
I don't know what this would do. I would really like to figure a way to make this work. The moog has every feature I want but this feature just seems ...

I would to do this live with my funk/reggae band.

How about this?

Delay out > octave up pedal >

Y Cable >Amplifier
Mix out >

Yikes. Does that make sense?

mf-104z effects loop inquiry

I have the mf-104z and it's really great. The only thing I wish it had was an effects loop that would affect the first repeat. I'm sure there is an explanation for why moog choose to build the circuit this way. But, is there a mod that can be done for a different send and return that would affect ...
