I agree, it seems to be a very common problem - it is v worrying. I have now arranged to send it away to be fixed as I am not happy keep opening it up repeatedly to access the board (to fix the debugger to). I let you know once it is fixed, which hopefully won't be too long!

Thanks, good to know they managed to fix it for you. I have been in touch with Amos now and have tried one last go but still no luck - it's not under warranty now so its going to go to Cimple or another company in London - so fingers crossed will be up and running soon!

I am wondering if there may perhaps be an issue with my debugger? Seems unlikely but odd that it seems to work for everyone else. Especially when my LP had the exact same 'symptoms' as other peoples' too, the blank screen, no sound etc...

Anyway I have contacted Amos so fingers crossed he can shed ...

Hi, thanks v much for the reply. No I did not download that - I downloaded the USB Debug Adapter Reset Utility and the IDE installer from Silicon Labs, do I need to download the Flash programming utilities first? then it should work?

Sorry I meant to say I normally work on an imac and this is what I used to perform the update for my stage LP to version 2.2. WhenI got the debugger I was told to use a PC I have tried it on two different PCs and had the same message I describe in the above post...

Hi, my debugger arrived today and I have this message appearing 'communication could not be established with the specified adapter. Please confirm the current adapter and cable connection'. Can anyone help, I do not know what to do next - any advice please?
