I'm wondering how they sound as well, as I have noticed a very distinct absence of frequency response specs from Roland for both the 350 and the 550.

For my tone I think they sound really nice, and I usually won't buy anything that doesn't have tubes in it.

How do you like those? Ive had the pleasure of running my Micro through an 880 and I felt like the speaker was going to shatter. It just didn't put out enough lows.

The Roland Rep advised me against their own Subwoofer.

Two Roland KC-550s.

I own many Marshalls, some with pcbs and many with PTP. Sonically, I can't hear any substantial advantage or disadvantage to either, as there are great sounding and there are ho-hum sounding amps on both sides of the fence.

Now in regards to working on them, PTP is vastly superior.

The thought of shipping my new Moog across the country and back was an option I was dreading, too.

Uhhh....it's been awhile, hopefully Amos will correct any mistakes.

Remove the wheel housing two screws, unplug the connector and set the wheels aside. Remove the keybed screws from underneath and remove keybed. Don't remember if there is a connector or not, but seems like there should be. If so ...

My Voyager did the same thing. With Amos' guidance I removed the key from the key bed and found flashing/burr on the bottom of the key that was easily removed with a flat file.

Do you know of a good example of what you are talking about that might be on youtube?

Doing some trial and error, I sent a CP-251 square wave to the Voyager filter input, then messed with the offset and I think it sounds pretty darn good.

Is there a way to re-assign the mod wheel to produce a hard chop square wave tremolo instead of modulation? I bought a CP-251 to achieve this but it ended up attenuating the overall volume instead of blending the effect into the signal.
