Re: Final audio output ?

I use a CP3 mixer as final out on my Modular because I mix 4 different sources, one being the built-in Minimoog. But then I also wanted to use my 1120 volume pedal.. so the CP3 feeds into a VCA, controlled by the pedal... :)

Re: Triggering Moog Rogue with Roland RT30K Trigger

What you have there with the RT30K is simply some sort of Piezo trigger. What you need is a trigger convertor - I've built them many times in one form or another. I used variations on the audio to trigger circuit that appears in the Modular Moog service manual for the 961 interface. You'll need to e...

Re: 904B control input 'bleed' through...

Are Q13, Q17, Q21, Q25 a matched set? Q14, Q18, Q22, Q26 matched? You are aware that the test circuit from the service manual for matching PNPs is incorrect, yes? If any of them are unmatched that is where the feedthrough comes from. The 904B has no trimpot for reducing feedthrough. Thanks for your...

Re: 904b schematic verify

I'm looking at C19 in the 904b schematics...it has one side to C20 but the other side to -6v rail. I'm not sure about this ...surely to earth? Hi folks, Having build two of my own 904B's and having used them for some time, I was looking into them again because I wasn't completely happy. I was getti...

904B control input 'bleed' through...

Hi folks,

Could anyone with an original Moog 904B HPFilter make a couple of checks for me please...?

I have built two of these myself and although they work perfectly - I am getting 'thumping' on the output and it's passing audio from the control inputs.

Cheers,
Tom

Re: Thoughts on the Moog Model 15

Glad to see that there are people who are able to compare the 15 with some other contenders out there. ***snip**** Anyone been able to compare it to the Synthesizer IIIC's 901's? I own an R.A.Moog system - with modules from the late 60's & early 70's. It has 901's and I also recently got a syst...

Re: 911 modification

The Korg MS10 has a hold function.

The control pot is VR22 on the schematic - but (unlike the other EG controls) it isn't 'named'..!

Here's a link to the service manual with the schematic.

A large percentage of the guys over on that site are knobs anyway.
They've had a go at me on more than one occasion for owning two CS80's and four Minimoog's.

Re: 904A output intermittently is only noise

If it is intermittent it sounds like it could be a dry joint. Try pulling the module out of the rack so you can push on the cct board with a pencil or something non conductive, then pass audio through it and lightly press on different parts of the board. If you can make it do it and then make it sto...
