I may have isolated the problem

Thanks Kevin..I have to borrow a scope to do that but will have a look.
Meantime, tackling the problem today I have found that the 911's seem to kick out too much signal into the VCA. By attenuating the 911 CV out via the CP mix to the VCA the problem seems to reduce a good deal (but so does the ...

unwanted "Thump" Percussion noise on Modular 911-9

hi... Concerning my home built modular system another query crops up.

With the T1 control set at 2 (Attack) and slight amount of T2 (Decay)added i.e. between 2-5, a very considerable percussive "thump" is heard when key is depressed. Backing off the Attack T1, alleviates the "thump" and the T2 ...

I get them to track (just) and next day..back to square one  one ...

Thanks Voltor I will have a look at these Osc. what you say sounds promising The 3C is not a 3C yet, still have the third tier to complete so its more like a 55 at the moment with a mixture of modules from both.

Does anybody know of an equivalent (s)

This is like looking for the Holy Grail but is there a site containing photos
of track patterns and component lays for any modular units? Kevin had some on his old synthfool site but alas their not on the new site.
thanks

901B v 921B

Has anyone any experience of using these two oscilators from the modulars?. Do they give the same responce or are they somewhat like the Minimoog early and late models where the early model oscilators are supposed to sound better?
