I sold a Nord G2X last year that I hadn't used for a while. I regret it now. In fact on reflection, I think it may have been wise to keep most of the gear that I have sold over the years.

Logan String machine, Rhodes 73, Moog Opus 3, ARP Axe, Korg Trinity, Korg 01W, Nord G2X etc. Some that I don't ...

Of course, I was being an idiot. I can just send 0-127 prog change data without sending and cc0 and cc32 messages and it all works OK. I can now change the Moog presets from another keyboard OK.

Cheers

Program Change by MIDI

Hi Guys

Can anyone tell me what the CC0 ( MSB ) and CC32 ( LSB ) range are for changing my Moog Voyager Perfromer programs by MIDI ? I don't have the expanded version, just the standard 128 programs.

I looked in the manual but the CC's are not listed with the MIDI paramaters. Maybe it's not ...

That's interesting. My Voyager is always about a half semitone out of tune at power up, and takes 30 minutes to settle in tune. It's summer here is Oz now, and my music room is usually about 22C, it doesn't get colder than about 19 even at night. (an average of 68F in old money! )

If I am just ...

Simple answer is no.

The Voyager has a polyphony of one. ( it's monophonic ) So you can only play one sequence using one preset. You could use your sequencer to play one track on the Voyager and the rest on your Nord L3 though. :)

Here's a photo of my Moog Voyager sat beside a Creamware ASB dressed up in it's Minimoog costume! Both 'Moogs' are sat on top of a GEM Promega 3, which is the best Digital Piano I have played and has great Mellotron Samples too.

The Korg Oasys sits on top of a Roland G70, to the left just out of ...

If you want the Taurus bass pedal sound, the Voyager does a better job than the LP. My Vger and Source does Taurus imitations quite well - and I own a set of Taurus pedals.

I was using Roland PK-5 pedals with my Voyager, the combination worked very well and sounded great. Lately I have been using ...

You should be able to pull presets from the Voyager to the PC without a problem, but you will not be able to send presets from the PC to the Voyager unless you purchase the licence.

This allows you to see how you can move presets around in the software, and make global changes ( like making every ...
