I updated the firmware on my LP II yesterday... my Vista SP2 box using the SoundTower Librarian demo thru an M-Audio Uno. The update went fine, no issues.

That's what I wondered, and I thought I read somewhere that the end panels were a rubber material.

What material is the outer rings of the mod and pitch wheels on the Stage II? Is it rubber-ish, as it looks, or is it just plastic? I can’t tell from the images.
