I reckon plastic sides would be cool, unless they look cheap and tacky like the first version of the MPC1k. They'd have to be black, or at least dark. Or clear!

Contact the guys at Awave, they're in Camberwell, Melbourne. They stock Moog and a pretty good to deal with. They've got the Voyager discounted pretty heavily at the moment too.

Frostwave also make a couple of small midi/cv convertors, they aren't on the website but if you email Paul I'm sure he'd tell you the specs. They're pretty cheap too, and all frostwave stuff is fatastically well built.

But Amos is adamant that *cringe* Little Phatty is the real name, so further speculation seems redundant...?

Depends on how this will stack up against the MEK. I'll be kind of tempted seeing as I already have the tabletop evolver, so it would be nice to have both.

I think the actual metal case will be square, and just the wood will be curved. Kind of like the sidepanel of the MPC2500.
