Re: Minimoog Model D - Which Model/Year is the best?

#13040 is made after November 1979. I am not sure if they built them continuously or in batches. Most likely the end control tag is still below the panel housing. That part that can only be seen fro the inside of the back main housing, not on the back where the trimmer holes are.

Re: Default Trigger Mode

Here the details from the Minimoog reissue manual: MULTI-TRIGGER ON Hold this D Major chord (D3, F#3, A3) while turning on the power to set Multi-Triggering to On. MULTI-TRIGGER OFF (LEGATO MODE) Hold this D Minor chord (D3, F3, A3) while turning on the power to set Multi-Triggering to Off. The late...

Re: Mini Mod filter .....unexpected behaviour.

This might be a CV bleed through of this filter. But as I only know the original Moog filters built into Moogs.

Re: Aftertouch Kill Switch

I am a aftertouch user. And I have never missed a way to global disable aftertouch, as I am not into using factory sounds that much. And the few I use, I edit them to suit my way of playing. If you set the aftertouch curve of the new firmware 1.2.0 to exponential, the normal playing will not change ...

Maybe ,like on the Elektron , pressing shift while turning the pot could be implemented ( when pressing shift ,there are only 3 positions, left /right and center)
Sounds like a good idea.

Re: Beat Frequency not consistent

For some slow beating like up to 0.5 Hz, the low octaves are not out of tune too much to sound out of tune. This beating frequency thing worked fantastic on the linear VCOs of the original Moog Taurus and then again on the Taurus III and all following Moog synths. So this is not THE problem of out o...

Re: Taurus III software upgrade

The last new firmware (v. 2.0.4) was released in September 2014. So no changes for years. You get when you log in to your Moog account where you registered the Taurus III.

Re: Moog Sub 37 Presets Converted to Moog One

As the parameter min and max are not the same and the values are not all linear over the parameter range, this is not an easy task to do automatically. And after all, there are also some parameters like distortion/overdrive of the filter not available on the Moog One. Better have the two synth side ...

Re: New Sub Phatty loud popping noise when changing presets

Looks like the release section of one of the envelope is not finished when switching the preset. It is normal for an analog envelopes to have a certain latency in changing to the new envelope parameters due to their mainly capacity based design. But I am not sure if the SubPhatty got analog envelope...
