CP-251 S&H Trig in vs Kenton USB Solo

Greetings Moogers!

I have purchased a Kenton USB Solo for my vintage Micromoog. I noticed that the USB Solo has an output for Midi Clock. Is it possible to use this Midi Clock output to trigger the Sample and Hold on the CP-251 to put the S&H in sync with DAW?

Many Thanks!

Re: CV Expander - Question about VCA in vs SQ-1 vs Kenton US

Thank you both!

I have tried connecting the the Sq-1 gat out to the werkstatt gate out. That is a no go in EG mode and in VCA mode it is no different than if you only have the CV connected. That actually works fine i just want to better understand. I see folks on youtube connecting these two ...

CV Expander - Question about VCA in vs SQ-1 vs Kenton USB

Greetings all,

I've purchased the werkstatt to be an expander for my Micromoog. While the Micro is away at the shop being calibrated, the werkstatt arrived. I tried to hook it up to my Kenton USB solo (which works fine with the micro) and i could get CV going but only a drone. No note on/off ...

Should I keep my Micromoog vintage?

Hello moog fanatics! I am considering a very modest mod on my vintage micromoog. It has a low serial number (1558) and does not have one of the attenuator knobs on the back panel that you often see. I am considering switching out the 3/16 modulation jack with a more conventional 1/4". This will ...

Re: How did I get my Micromoog

Thanks for all of your suggestions! The Micro was a gift. I helped the synth player in my older brothers band move, find an apartment, get a job etc. His older borther had purchased the micro new in the mid-seventies. So, in a way, I am the second owner. Anyway it was a basket-case that barely ...

Using Micromoog audio patching to emulate Moogerfoogers

Greetings,

Can anyone out there advise me what settings i would use when patching audio through a Micromoog's filter to achieve the same effects as a Moogerfooger MF-101 or Mf-102? Theoretically this seems like it should be possible. I also have a cp-251 if that helps. Thanks in advance.

Micromoog/vintage moog problem with keys

Greetings all,

One of the keys on my Micromoog sits a bit higher than the rest and when that key is played it makes a 'clack' when the key returns to its normal position. Obviously it is missing some kind of bushing or something. Does anyone have a home-remedy for this?

Many Thanks,

I working the micromoog/cp-251 combo...

...lots of science involved. I've made an isolated workstation for the two units. For me, the micromoog is still a bit of an enigma. I only recently brought the mircomoog back from the dead and even more recently found an instruction manual. I've had a few sessions just plugging in wires to see what ...
