OS 3.4 and Editor Librarian 3.0.0

Before I jump in and upgrade my Voyager AE OS to version 3.4, does this still work with the version 3.0.0 Editor Librarian, or would I need to wait for SoundTower to release a new version to take account of these new parameters?

Thanks for all the replies. At least I'm not alone in this! I'll have a go with using different cable and see if this helps.

voyager and dotcom

Hi

Does anybody on here have any experience of using their voyager with a synthesizers.com modular? I’ve successfully driven the dotcom from the voyager via the vx-351, but today I tried driving the voyager from the dotcom and got some surprising results.

I connected the qkb15s keyboard controller ...

I spent last week-end trying to trouble shoot this problem and I too can now confirm that mine does it with nothing plugged into it. Looks like I'll just have to keep that glide switch in the ON position.

I'm glad I'm not the only one!

This thing is driving me crazy!

It would appear that it only occurs when I have the VX-351 and CP-251 connected via the accessory port. The CP-251 is sharing power from the VX-351 in a rack-mount adaptor.

If I leave the voyager without the connection, everything is fine. With the VX-251 and CP-251 ...

Yes you are right Rudi - I went back to v3.2 to rule the software out and the problem is still there.

I also tried swapping back to my old LHC module in case it was the switch or circuit board on the new unit that was causing the problem, but the problem is also still there.

I’m back to the new ...

Intermittent Glide = OFF setting

Hi

My Voyager AE has developed an intermittent fault/bug. When the Glide switch is in the OFF setting, every few seconds it will automatically set Glide = OFF, without me touching anything, so the current patch displays that it has been changed (with **** marks on each side). This does not happen ...

Sure! You have to save your presets before, after the upgrade you should do a factory reset (MASTER Page 4.4 - ENTER - +1 ENTER CURSOR ENTER). Then reload your presets again.

I've just done the upgrade this morning - all is working OK now - thanks! I did have a minor panic when MIDIOX came up ...

I'm still on version 2.5 that came pre-installed on my AE. Can I upgrade directly from 2.5 to 3.2, or do I need to install 3.1 first?

Turnkey send out a Yamaha PSU with the CP-251. The packaging for the VX-351 and CP-251 that I got from Turnkey were very similar. Perhaps they got confused and sent out a PSU by mistake, thinking that it was a CP-251. They got mine right though...

I've got the PC v1.2.1 software off the Moog Music site, but the banks you mention don't appear to be part of the package. Any suggestions?

Where can I find the RME and EB presets - these don't appear to be on the Moog website.

you need a digital multimeter to tune the board for consistent tuning from octave to octave, but no soldering.

Is it just a matter of tweaking a couple of pots to a certain fixed values, or do you have to play that old game like on the old Moogs where moving one pot changes the other and you are ...

I had a similar problem - try increasing the size/number of MIDI buffers in MIDI-OX - it worked for me. Go to Options->Configure Buffers... and make the changes there. My setup is: 512/32 for both input and output.

Mod Wheel to Pitch and Filter

I've just started creating patches from scratch and I have a question:

How do I send LFO modulation from the Mod Wheel to both Pitch and Filter at the same time?

On the Prodigy (which I used to own), it has two independent switches one to send LFO to the oscillators and one to send LFO to the ...
